Counseling available for students who need extra support on Mondays

Two Conestoga Valley High School students died over the weekend, according to a letter from the school district superintendent. The letter did not explain how the students died or disclose their names. The school makes counselors available at the high school on Monday for all students. who need extra support during this time. Counseling will be held from 8:00 a.m. to noon. WGAL has contacted the school and police for more information. Here is the full letter from the Superintendent: “June 26, 2022” Dear Parents and guardians,”It is with deep sadness that I write to inform you of the passing of two of our high school students over the weekend. We offer our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the students during this difficult time. “If your child was in high school or knew of the students who died, we suggest you talk to your child about this tragedy. Additionally, parents should be aware of any unusual behavior or changes in their child’s behavior. Signs may include: difficulty or changes in sleep, inability to concentrate, distraction, irritability, thoughts of death or dying, isolation, withdrawal from normal activities and friends, guilt , fear and worry, use of alcohol or other drugs and increased risk. adopt behaviors. One of the best ways for students to recover is to get back to a normal routine as soon as possible. “In high school, we are also taking steps to help students who are experiencing strong emotions at this time.
