El Paso sends 16 local high school football teams to Area Round

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The high school football playoffs are officially underway across the state of Texas with the bi-district round kicking off Thursday and Friday. KTSM 9 Sporting Director Andy Morgan highlights the action.

Class 6A
– Defeat of Eastlake. Odessa Periman, 5-2 (Falcons advance to regional round)
-Odessa High def. Franklin, 4-1 (Cougars eliminated)
